Description
The Trane CTR2006 3-Pole Contactor 120V switches high-current electrical loads controlling separate power circuits simultaneously through an electromagnetic coil activation signal within HVAC systems. This normally open pole part energizes when it receives voltage from thermostats or safety circuits, closing sets of contacts to deliver power to compressors, condenser fans and auxiliary equipment in HVAC systems. It provides wiring isolation between control volts, and line power protecting sensitive electronics while enabling remote switching, and heating elements. It handles inrush flows from motor starting, and repetitive cycling across commercial cooling applications.
