Description
The Resideo Q309A2150/B Thermocouple is a flame sensing component used in gas furnaces and boilers that operate with standing pilot ignition assemblies in HVAC systems. It detects heat from the pilot flame and generates the electrical signal required to keep the gas valve open during normal equipment operation. It is placed between the pilot burner and gas control valve, and it operates as a protective mechanism within by interrupting gas flow if the pilot flame is extinguished.
