Description
The Mitsubishi Electric R01E36201 Thermistor Shell Compressor is a temperature sensor that is used to check the state of compressors in HVAC systems. It contains a thermistor element that detects the temperature variations and gives the correct resistance feedback to the system control board. This shell is installed either around the compressor or in the service chamber of the compressor to protect the thermistor and maintain constant contact to give a reading. It allows the control system to modify operating parameters, avoid overheating, and ensure efficient operation in ductless mini-split and multi-zone heat pump HVAC systems.
