The Siemens Building Technology S55180-A150 FLTG Fail-Safe Actuator controls valve positioning to regulate fluid flow. It operates on 24 VAC power with a three-position floating control signal, delivering a running speed of approximately 16 seconds per millimeter and a total stroke time near 88 seconds, while providing a positioning force of about 200 N for consistent valve movement in HVAC systems. Installed on compatible Powermite MZ series control valves in hydronic heating and cooling systems, it adjusts valve position based on control input.
