Description
The Leonard Valve LV-982-LF-RF 1-x-1-4″ Thermostatic Mixing Valve is used for flow control elements that mix hot and cold water to a preset temperature and then deliver it in HVAC systems. It is fitted in radiant heating, hot water, and boiler water circuits where temperature control is needed to protect downstream equipment and to ensure comfort set points are met. It adjusts the mixture based on the inlet temperature. In the system, it helps maintain the water temperature supply and prevents overheating or thermal shock during normal operation.
