The Sporlan Controls 163402 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) R404A is a refrigerant control component used to regulate the flow into the evaporator of HVAC systems. It has 5/8″ x 7/8″ connections and is designed to operate with a 6-tonne capacity with R404A refrigerant by adjusting the refrigerant depending on the load and operating conditions to ensure better heat exchange and pressure. It is mounted at the evaporator inlet and is operated with sensors and evaporator parts, according to the system concept of accurate flow regulation and assisting the provision of uniform cooling performance.
