Description
The Carrier 30MP680015 Contactor operates with 24Vac electrical voltage to serve as an electrically activated switch for HVAC systems particularly in Carrier and compatible units. The device serves to activate electrical power toward devices such as compressors and fan motors and heating elements. The contactor coil receives a 24Vac signal from the thermostat which activates the contacts to establish a connection with high-voltage components. The equipment becomes operational through this mechanism. The device provides dependable switching capabilities to control HVAC equipment efficiently and protects systems through its ability to manage high-voltage circuits using low-voltage control signals.
