Description
iO HVAC Controls BH-08 Horizontal barometric bypass damper that has an 8” round shape and is used to control the static pressure in zoned HVAC systems. It is opened and closed by pressure difference and allows the excess air to return to the return duct or another part of the system to enable the balanced flow of fresh air. It can be used with forced-air heating and cooling systems that used zone dampers. It minimizes pressure buildup, improves system performance, lowers noise levels, and prevents the strain on HVAC system parts. This type of installation has its mounting orientation done horizontally, which makes it easy to fit into the duct system.
