Description
The Sporlan Controls 164551 functions as a 1.5-ton capacity thermal expansion valve (TXV) which uses 3/8″ x 1/2″ ODF connections to operate with R500 refrigerant in HVAC systems.The TXV valve controls refrigerant flow to the evaporator coil by optimizing cooling performance through superheat measurements. This valve works in air conditioners, heat pumps and refrigeration units to maintain efficient operation while avoiding evaporator flooding and starving.The system delivers three advantages which are enhanced energy efficiency together with stable temperature control and longer compressor longevity.
