Description
The Carrier ADK083S Liquid Line Filter is an essential component used in refrigeration systems to remove moisture, acids, and particulate contaminants from the refrigerant flow within HVAC systems. It helps protect vital equipment such as the compressor and evaporator by ensuring only clean, dry refrigerant circulates through the equipment during operation. It is installed in compatible condensing and split-system air conditioning units during servicing or replacement procedures, where it is brazed into the liquid line of the refrigerant circuit. it operation as a filtration and moisture-control component that supports the system, prevents internal corrosion, and maintains efficient cooling performance.
