The Heatcraft Refrigeration SBFSAAC 1/4-1/3-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve is a refrigeration part that forms a control of the flow into evaporator coils to provide the correct superheat and effective cooling. It has 3/8 inch ODF x 1/2″ ODF connections, and is usually used in residential and light commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems, where fine metering of refrigerant is needed.
