Description
Heatcraft Refrigeration SBFSEAZP Thermostatic Expansion Valve controls refrigerant flow regulating the rate according to the evaporator to maintain proper superheat. In HVAC systems, like commercial refrigeration units, it regulates the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator by measuring changes in temperature and pressure using a sensing bulb and diaphragm. The size is 1/2–1 tonne capacity and is fitted with 3/8″ x 1/2″ ODF connections and is designed for R404A refrigerant and is placed on the liquid line before the evaporator. It is used to ensure efficient heat exchange, to stabilise cooling performance, and to prevent compressor floodback.
