Description
The Heatcraft Refrigeration EFS1/4C Thermal Expansion Valve is a refrigerant control part used to regulate the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator for efficient cooling in HVAC systems. This valve features a 1/4-inch ODF inlet and 3/8-inch ODF outlet connection, and is typically rated for approximately 1/4 ton capacity with an internal equalizer and medium temperature charge. It does not use electrical ratings such as voltage or RPM, as it operates mechanically based on temperature and pressure changes. Installed in refrigeration or air conditioning units, it meters refrigerant into the evaporator, helping maintain proper superheat and supporting efficient heat exchange and system stability.
