Description
The Reznor RZ045602 A/R High Limit Switch is a temperature safety control component used in heating equipment to protect against excessive heat conditions. It monitors operating temperatures and, at a setting of 180F, opens the electrical circuit to interrupt operation when overheating occurs. After the temperature decreases by approximately 60F the switch automatically resets, allowing normal operation to resume. Commonly applied in furnaces, unit heaters and related heating assemblies within HVAC systems, it helps protect internal components from heat-related damage while supporting safe, and controlled equipment operation.
