Description
The Trane CNT00607 High Pressure Cutout Switch measures refrigerant pressure on the high side of the circuit and opens the control circuit when pressure reaches accurately, shutting down the compressor to prevent damage from excessive system pressure. Its internal sensing element responds to rising pressure by opening the switch contact at the 405 PSI threshold and automatically resets by closing the contact once pressure drops back to 300 PSI, allowing the system to resume normal operation. Fitted on the high-side condensate line in condensing units, heat pumps, and packaged cooling systems, it connects into the vaporizer control circuit through the prescribed wiring terminals.
