The Trane BLW01311 2-Speed Inducer Blower Assembly provides controlled combustion air movement for gas-fired heating equipment in HVAC systems. It runs on 208-230 V, 60 Hz single-phase power at 2800/1500 RPM, and pulls the combustion gases through the heat exchanger and exhausts them through the flue system. This is installed in the furnace cabinet to provide proper drafting, stabilize the operation of the burner and provide coordinated sequencing with pressure switches and control boards. It assists in ensuring safe operation, consistent ignition, and stable heating output through the equipment by ensuring consistent airflow and venting performance.
