Description
Trane VAL10372 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used to control refrigerant flow to the evaporator coil. Installed in 5-tonne cooling equipment with R410A refrigerant the valve regulates the refrigerant flow to meet the cooling load and maintains the proper superheat and stable cooling performance. It has a 3/8-inch ODF inlet and 1/2-inch ODF outlet connection and is compatible with the installation of compatible refrigerant piping and evaporator circuits in air conditioning, and heat pump systems. The TXV is located in the designated liquid line sections and helps to meter refrigerant maintain stable temperatures and ensure cooling system operation.
