The Trane CNT06080 Defrost Control Board is an electronic control component used in heat pump systems to manage the automatic defrost cycle of the outdoor unit. It monitors system inputs and initiates defrost operation when frost accumulation on the outdoor coil requires removal, maintaining proper heat transfer and thermal performance in HVAC systems. Commonly installed as a replacement part in compatible heat pumps, it supports accurate cold-weather operation.
