Description
The Trane CTC00843 Normally Closed Auxiliary Contact is rated for 1 pole and is used in control circuits to provide electrical interlocking or status response within equipment in HVAC systems. It is installed alongside contactors, relays or switching units inside the unit’s control panel where it changes state mechanically when the main part operates. When the primary contactor or switch is energized the auxiliary contact changes position to open or close a separate low-voltage control circuit depending on system design. This allows it to signal status or enable/disable related components such as compressors, fans, heaters or safety interlocks.
