Description
The Trane VAL07558 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator to ensure that superheat is maintained and the cooling performance is balanced. It has a 5-ton capacity and a 31″ ODS by Chatleff connection configuration in HVAC systems. It works with the support of a sensing bulb and a diaphragm, which adjusts the opening of the valve depending on the change in temperature and pressure. It is installed at the evaporator inlet and is connected to the liquid, and suction lines to control the distribution of refrigerant.
