The Trane SWT00417 Differential Pressure Switch is used to check the difference between the pressure to maintain adequate airflow, and ensure the system operates securely. It work on the concept of detecting changes in pressure and connecting electrical contacts when predefined thresholds are met enabling control of the connected parts. It has a temperature range of -40 F to 150 F, is installed in air handling and combustion areas of HVAC systems and operates with fans and safety controls. It assists in the proper monitoring of pressure, prevents unsafe conditions, enhances the system, and maintains consistent performance.
