Description
The Trane ACT00524 Spring Return Actuator is an electromechanical component used to replace dampers or valves with an in-built return operation in HVAC systems. This exerts torque to get a control linkage to a desired position and to automatically get back to its default motion when power is cut off. It converts control signals into mechanical rotation, which ensures a minimum of 35 inch-pounds of torque to sufficiently move. It is clamped to the corresponding damper shafts or even valve stems and attached to the control wiring in an airflow or fluid control assembly.
