Description
The International Comfort Products 1193983 Condensate-Pan Kit collects water produced by the evaporator coil during cooling, and directs it toward the connected drain outlet. Positioned beneath the coil assembly, the pan receives falling condensate and channels the accumulated moisture through the drainage path. Its installation within the indoor unit makes it part of the equipments condensate management arrangement. This pan is used to keep cooling-generated water contained as it moves toward the drain in HVAC systems. By directing condensate away from the coil area, the assembly reduces the chance of water collecting around nearby sections of the indoor equipment.
