Description
The Carrier HT32BH942 Crankcase Heater is a essential part used in the HVAC systems that are used in air conditioners and heat pumps to protect the refrigeration compressors. This is a resistance type heater which is mounted around this part of the compressor, the case that contains the lubricating oil. Its main role is to ensure the oil does not get too cold, below a certain point, and to allow refrigerant to dissolve in oil and then condense when compressor is off.
