Description
The Honeywell HVFD3D3C0050G100C 5HP VFD controls HVAC systems. VFDs work through rectification of fixed frequency AC supply to DC supply, and then into variable frequency AC supply. The output frequency is changed to control the speed of the motor and the operation is smooth and efficient. This drive is particularly useful in HVAC applications such as variable speed control of fans, pumps, and chillers. Through adjusting motor speed, VFDs enhance energy use productivity, decrease operating expenses, and increase equipment durability. For instance, in fan applications, VFDs enable the control of the speed of fans resulting in reduced power consumption at reduced cooling or heating demand.
