Description
The Trane SWT3525 Roll-out Switch is intended to help avoid overheating and possible fire. In the case where the temperature inside the ductwork rises to 200°F, the switch turns on and thus stops the system. When the temperature drops to a safe level of 50°F the switch resets and the HVAC system can go back to normal. The SWT3525 is used in commercial and industrial air conditioning systems such as unit heaters, fan coils, and roof top units where the use of heating elements poses a danger of overheating.
