The Trane SEN02152 Temperature Thermistor Sensor that is used in HVAC systems with an emphasis on air handlers and rooftop units to get accurate temperature of the air. This sensor operates based on the principle of varying electrical resistance with temperature variation. This means that with increased temperatures the level of resistance is decreased while with increased levels of resistance, temperatures viewed as a form of heat, decreases. This change is processed to the HVAC control system where it is translated to meanings that determine heating and cooling.
