Description
The Trane CTR02967 Compressor Contactor is rated for 32 AMP applications and is used to control electrical power delivery to compressors during equipment operation. Utilizing an electromagnetic switching mechanism, the contactor opens and closes the circuit in response to control signals for regulated compressor startup and shutdown. Commonly used into condensing units, packaged equipment, and control panels connected with HVAC systems, it supports coordinated compressor operation and electrical management. Mounted within compatible electrical compartments during servicing or replacement procedures, the contactor helps maintain controlled power distribution and responsive system operation.
