Description
The Copeland ZF11K4E-PFV-961 Scroll Compressor is a hermetic product that is used in HVAC systems, for cooling with a capacity of 11,000 BTU. This compressor works at a voltage of 208-230V and single-phase power supply, and it uses two spiral scrolls, one is stationary and the other revolves to compress the refrigerant. The orbiting scroll causes the formation of gas pockets as it moves, and refrigerant is drawn into these pockets where the volume of the pockets is reduced leading to high pressure and temperature before discharge. This type of technology provides for less mechanical complexity and less mechanical noise and more efficiency than the reciprocating compressor.
