Description
The Trane SWT1245 is a pressure switch used in different HVAC systems. It works in pressure range of 0.05WC to 5 inches of water column WC. Pressure switches are safety parts that measure pressure in a system and sound an alarm or stop the system if the pressure is outside a normal range. This particular switch is probably used to detect low pressure conditions including low airflow or blocked filters. When the system pressure is less than the set point, the switch opens to sound a bell or turn off the system to avoid further damage.
