Description
The Trane VAL19948 is a thermal expansion valve TXV with an integrated strainer. TXVs are therefore a major part of the refrigeration and air conditioning system responsible for controlling the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator depending on the cooling load of the system. The VAL19948 has a strainer incorporated in the system to avoid blockage of the system by debris and contaminants in the refrigerant. This integrated strainer improves system efficiency and durability of the TXV and other components of the system. It can be used with a number of HVAC equipment, such as air conditioners and heat pumps.
