The Trane WEL0837 Thermistor Well Assembly is a protective casing for the temperature measuring that are used in HVAC systems. It forms a closed compartment to protect the thermistor from moisture, dirt, and pressure changes in the system’s fluid lines. This guarantees correct and precise measurement of temperature of water or refrigerant. Common in Trane chillers and other water cooled HVAC systems, the well assembly enables the sensor to be replaced without having to pull a drain, it reducing the time and maintenance. This makes it possible to have longer life of the sensors and also constant performance of the whole system.
