The Morrison Bros. 474 series is a critical safety component for small aboveground storage tanks, specifically engineered for bottom-outlet farm tank applications. This 1″ x 1″ angle-style valve utilizes a UL-listed 165°F fusible link to provide automated thermal shut-off. In the event of a fire, the link melts, triggering the internal spring-loaded mechanism to instantly stop product flow and prevent fuel from feeding the flames. Built with a durable brass body and standard nitrile rubber (Buna-N) seals, this valve provides a reliable seal for standard petroleum applications in a lightweight, 1 lb profile.
