The Johnson Controls DPT2640-0R5B is a compact, but stable differential pressure transducer that is used in HVAC systems. It determines the pressure difference in a room, mostly in air handling units or duct systems. 1It measures the pressure difference in between two points, normally in an air handling unit or duct work. Then it converts the pressure differential 1into an electrical signal in the form of DC voltage Thus it operates in between the two main components of the differential pressure sensor. This signal can be easily interfaced with the building automation system for its control and monitoring. Working of the device involves the measurement of 1the pressure difference between two points and the production of an electrical signal proportional to the difference.
