Description
The Nidec-Embraco 2324092-ESP Overload is an electrical component that is used in the refrigeration and HVAC system compressor motors to prevent over-current and thermal overload during operation. The overload is mounted on or close to the compressor terminal housing and includes a temperature-sensitive element that is set to interrupt current flow when the temperature of the motor winding is above its design limit, and which works to prevent the damage that might be caused by the overload. As the motor cools and the conditions back to normal, the system allows the flow of current to resume. This safety measure will provide safe compressor operation.
