Description
The Fisher 289H-42 Pressure Relief Valve is used to control the pressure element by letting excess accumulation escape if it rises to predetermined levels, typically in gas and fluid control lines in HVAC systems to operate safely. Its operation is based on opening in a range of 4-15 PSI to release pressure and closing once normal levels are achieved. It has a 1″ NPT connection and fits into the line to manage the pressure under control. It is attached to upstream, and downstream components to work properly and is installed in the piping system.
