Description
The Lennox 27A17 15kW Electric Heat Kit is a supplemental electric heating component used in air handling equipment. It provides resistance heating through integrated elements that activate when additional heat is required during system operation in HVAC systems. It support supplying auxiliary heat during low outdoor temperature conditions or when heating capacity is insufficient. It is used to maintain consistent indoor temperatures, support heating demand, and provide consistent system performance during colder operating conditions. It is placed within the air handler cabinet and it integrates with the control and protection circuits to regulate heat output.
