Description
The Weil McLain 385-700-218 Collector Hood Gasket Kit is a collection of sealing elements that are installed in boiler systems to substitute gaskets in the region around the collector hood. These gaskets provide a close seal between components of the combustion chamber or venting to ensure that the combustion gases do not leak out and to ensure that the draft is maintained. It is installed when service or maintenance of compatibility is undertaken between the hood and other assemblies. It is designed to provide proper sealing of safe combustion and effective flow of exhaust in the HVAC system.
