Description
The Amana-Goodman HKTSD20DB 20 kW Electric Heat Kit is a thermal component, used to offer supplemental electric heat when extra warming is required in HVAC systems. It is installed in the compatible air handlers or packaged units and is wired to the electrical supply and control circuitry of the system. Upon a signal from the thermostat or control logic it produces heat, which is delivered by the airflow stream to the conditioned air to increase its temperature. Its operation assists with the coordinated temperature adjustment under conditions, enabling the retention of the desired level of operation.
