Description
The Aaon G005590 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator by responding to temperature conditions at the evaporator outlet, assisting control the refrigerant feed within the cooling circuit. It uses 3/8″ X 7/8″ ODF connections and a 30″ capillary tube, as specified for this component within HVAC systems. It is positioned in the refrigeration circuit between liquid line and evaporator, where controlled refrigerant metering supports proper evaporator operation. Its sensing assembly provides the temperature input used to modulate refrigerant flow according to changing load conditions.
