The Amana-Goodman B1787000 Valve Core C/CL/CU/CP is designed for refrigerant operating ports to seal and regulate access to the system’s refrigerant lines in HVAC systems. It is placed inside the valves on air conditioning and heat pump equipment, where it maintains a tight seal under operating pressure while allowing the connection of gauges, recovering refrigerant or recharging the system during maintenance.
