Description
The Amtrol 60 Expansion Tank W/Insight Indicator is used to absorb expansion-related volume changes in compatible closed hydronic heating systems. Its expansion chamber accommodates the increased water volume that occurs as system water temperature rises, reducing the resulting change in system pressure. The 1/2-inch NPT connection provides the threaded interface for compatible piping, while the InSight indicator provides a visible reference for the tank’s internal condition. The tank installs in HVAC systems on the hydronic water circuit with the connection properly secured. This expansion space accommodates thermal water expansion, supporting stable system operation and reducing pressure fluctuations during repeated heating and cooling cycles.
