Description
The Bussmann Fuse LPJ-400SP is a Dual-Element Time-Delay Fuse for protection of electrical systems, 400A and up to 600VAC/300 VDC. This fuse has a 10-second delay at 5 times its rated current it will not blow during momentary overload conditions which are common with HVAC loads that may draw high inrush currents. Its interrupting rating of 300kA ensures proper functioning in short-circuit conditions and minimizes the thermal and magnetic stress on downstream equipment. This is especially useful in minimizing inventory requirements by as much as one-third when transitioning to Low-high fuses, making industrial applications safer and more effective.
