Description
The Carrier EF680068 Natural Gas Valve is used to regulate the flow of gas to heating element burners to maintain safe and consistent burning at a 3.5″ water column pressure and 24V operation. It is opened and closed by a solenoid-controlled mechanism to provide gas as needed by the system to aid in maintaining a specific temperature. It can be installed in the gas line directly above the burner assembly, compatible with other natural gas HVAC units. It ensures efficiency of the system, eliminates unsafe conditions, and assists stable performance in residential and light commercial heating systems.
