Description
The Carrier HC37GZ005 1/5HP 2‑Speed Motor is a blower drive designed to circulate the air within HVAC systems. This is a fractional-horsepower motor with a rating of 1/5 HP, which is powered by single-phase 208-230 volts and provides about 1075 RPM with two adjustable speed settings to suit airflow needs. It is installed in air handlers, furnace blowers or packaged units and drives the blower wheel to draw the return air through heat exchangers or evaporator coils and force the conditioned air into the ductwork. The motor facilitates an equal distribution of temperature by pushing air.
