The Carrier KFAET0150ETK Condensate Trap Kit is a drainage system that is used to collect and redirect water, out of internal components when operating in normal mode. It is primarily applied in air-handling and heating systems in which moisture is created during the cooling or combustion cycle. It is attached to the unit’s condensate drain outlet forming a water seal that prevents undesired air leakage and allows the drainage. It supports maintaining a steady pressure balance and moisture level within the entire appliance, which supports ensuring stability in the operation of HVAC systems.
