The Carrier TC-PHP01-A Programmable thermostat is an essential part of HVAC systems and developed to provide accurate climate control for residential applications. Like any other programmable thermostat, it can be programmed to have different temperatures during the week and different temperatures during the day. The “5-2 day” programmable schedule means that it is possible to one schedule for the weekdays, that is from Monday to Friday, and another different schedule for the weekend that is Saturday and Sunday. This feature is aimed at typical weekday weekend schedules when people are at work during the week and have different schedules during the weekend. This Carrier model comes with 3 stage heating and 2 stage cooling.
