Description
The Copeland 914-0036-11 Capacitor Start Kit supplies temporary electrical power to single-phase motors at startup for HVAC equipment specifically air conditioning compressors. A capacitor in this kit functions to store and discharge energy which produces increased starting torque for the motor. The capacitor helps the motor start up by reducing its stress which results in better reliability and extended equipment duration. The system provides better motor start performance and reduces motor damage and extends equipment operational durability.
