Description
The Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 053020 Filter Drier is used to eliminate the moisture and solid contaminants in the refrigerant stream and refrigerant system, including compressors and expansion parts. It has 1-1/8″ ODF connections so that it can be integrated into the refrigerant line either close to the condenser or service access points. It is intended to be installed in-line with the refrigerant piping designed to be used in residential and commercial HVAC systems. It ensures constant heat transfer, reduces the possibility of blockages, and helps to ensure consistent cooling performance by ensuring that the refrigerant flow.
