Description
The Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 059739 Suction Line Filter is a refrigerant filtration element, which is utilized to protect compressors and refrigerant circuits in the HVAC systems. This suction line filter has an outside diameter flare (ODF) of 31/8 inches and filters out impurities such as metal particles, acid and moisture before the refrigerant is pumped back to the compressor. It is fitted in the suction line between the evaporator and compressor inlet to assist in maintaining the refrigerant flowing clear, and reduce damage on moving components.
